All motor vehicle drivers with a vehicle weighing over 10,000 Lbs are required to have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Exam Certificate in their possession.
A MEDICAL EXAMINATION CERTIFICATE along with a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is required for those vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
You must carry your DOT MEDICAL EXAM CARD with you while driving a commercial vehicle or vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs.
New regulations for vehicles weighing over 10,000 lbs! You must have a medical card!!!!!
This means that if you are driving a vehicle weighing less than 26,000 lbs but more than 10,000 lbs you must have a medical card with you but not required to have a commercial drivers license.
